Got my rejection letter today. I'm a bit disappointed but it was never a sure thing. Only made my last TD payment on Tuesday so nowhere near being discharged yet.

The letter has suggested it was due to credit score, so no great shock.

Still onwards and upwards. Still have a Vanquis card to assist with the rebuilding job.

Hi CIF.

I think not being discharged might have played a big part in this.

I've only heard about Vanquis offering cards to people that have completed their obligations but who aren't yet discharged.

It probably has everything to do with it. Just thought I had nothing to lose. It's just another wee lesson learned. I'll wait till all my dividends have been paid and look at things again in six months[:)]

Yeah have had a Vanquis card since May of this year.

I have came through the door tonight to find a letter from Capital One saying I have been pre-selected to apply for their Platinum Card. These guys are hilarious. Luma is their card[:D]
