Hi, I’m Amy Jellings, the Trust Deed Assistant. I understand trust deeds and other debt management schemes can appear confusing (and sometimes scary) at first, but I’m here to answer any questions you’ve got swirling round your head. I’m also here to help guide you through the steps to getting your debt under control.
Together with my colleagues Andrew and Phil in the advice team, I post in the online forum to make sure questions are answered inside and outside of regular working hours, seven days a week.
We are professionally qualified debt advisors, each holding the Certificate in Debt Resolution. Our role on the forum is to answer general debt-related questions. We also help to establish and clarify the facts required by our experts to answer the questions asked by our visitors. Additionally we try to offer support to people visiting the forum who are seeking information about how best to resolve their debt concerns.
Our role also includes being members of the site’s debt advice team. We assist visitors to the site that make telephone and web enquiries to us about Scottish trust deeds and other debt-related subjects.
We work through the facts behind a debt situation before offering advice on the debt solutions which are available. We also answer more general debt-related questions.
This website is operated by Channel Active Ltd. We’re authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority to provide debt advice.
My day job has been based at AMI Financial Solutions Limited for more than a decade. We provide debt management and debt advice services to people living in all parts of the UK. I’m particularly involved in creditor liaison on behalf of our debt management plan customers.
Before joining Bright Oak, I worked as a team leader within a bank’s debt collection department. This has given me an in-depth insight into the processes used by creditors when their customers become unable to manage their debts.
