Hi, hope everyone is well.
I've not read about Tyler Morgan Claims ltd but I got a letter today from them. The deal is if I send 8 first class stamps, plus my credit report they will make sure my credit report is all updated. Just as I'm writing this, I'm wondering if this is the firm that claimed ppi back on my x-trustee's behalf. I only have one creditor left who needs to update my credit file so I wont be taking their offer, but has any one else had correspondence @ the end of their trust deed from this firm?
Hi sparky1.
From what I can find online:
They may be using public records to contact people that have been insolvent.
They will take some steps to address credit file problems.
The commercial imperative appears to be to identify claims opportunities that they can assist you with.
The feedback and information out there is mixed.
It was an unwelcome letter anyway, after finishing a trust deed I want to move on from it rather that getting more letters reminding me grrr.
Our TD finished in June of last year and in December we received a flyer from Tyler Morgan.
We decided to go ahead and sent off the eight stamps and a copy of our credit files.
In the post today I received two letters from them to which I was told to sign, attach a copy of my TD discharge letter and send to the relevant creditor.
One issue though, my name was misspelled.
I phoned them up this morning and asked if they would resend the letters with my correct name. The reply? 'You only sent us eight stamps and you want us to do this? Just correct the spelling yourself'
When I said this wasn't terribly professional and that in the event I was entitled to a PPI refund, they would take quite a chunk, I was told that they now had no intention of dealing with me anymore.
Serves me right I expect for expecting a professional service! From a company claiming to be professional!

Teach me for being lazy and thinking someone else would sort things.
