Good news,
Just received a phone call this morning from a nice man called Paul informing me that the full amount of my inheritance will be transferred to my bank account today. Many thanks for all your kind comments.

Glad hear that 1681.
I did think this was all going to work out fine once the firm concerned had the opportunity to do the checks that they would naturally need to do.

That's good news ! As when I read your post I thought ..... you were discharged ages ago - someone leaves you money - someone who is not entitled to it then takes it or unlawfully is in possession of it

Sounds like it was maybe just a case of a solicitor erring on the side of caution. Glad it was all sorted out for you 1681.
