Hi, finally I have learned today that my husband and I have achieved protected status. What a worrying last few weeks that was. So payment 36 has been made, 35 to go. I really hope that this is the beginning of the end for the debt nightmare we were in and not the end of the beginning :-/

Well done Stephanie
It is fairly unusual for a Trust Deed not to go through as we stick to a set criteria 99.9% of the time, so almost know beforehand that it will be accepted.
Trust me the next 35 months will fly by.

I know the feeling well of holding your breath...waiting... and they it goes through!
I got our conformation letters advising the TD was protected and fully registered.... Tempted to frame it for the next 36 months!

Thank you everyone, it's a massive sigh of relief and if everything goes to plan it's going to be a god send. For the first time in my life I have actual cash in the bank (not alot, in fact very little) but it's mine and I'm not in overdraft - looking forward to living this way in future.
