Hi,
Just wanted to share that I received a letter from RSM Tenon today confirming my trust deed is now protected. This was a huge relief, I have really been impressed with RSM Tenon and the way they have handled everything.
Feels like a new dawn today [:)]

Hi Bobby,
That's good news about the protection of your Trust Deed. All you need to do now is maintain the agreement and at the end you will be debt free.
Good luck for the future.

Welcome to the forum bobsa.
Congratulations to you. It's great that you've taken time out to praise Kevin's firm on the assistance that they have provided to you.
Best wishes for a trouble-free arrangement.
Well done Bobby. Its a great feeling. Now settle into the routine of budgeting for a few years and you will be sorted in no time. We used tenon too and they made the whole process as easy as it could be.
Dont be afraid to contact your case manager if you have any issues(car breakdowns/repairs, broken cookers etc). They are only too happy to help.

That's good advice. I'm with RMS and they have been brilliant so far.
We just started one of our kids in nursery and am paying more money out monthly for the fees than we expected. We have managed to absorb them into our monthly expenses reasonably well so haven't spoken to our case manager about it yet. perhaps I should send her an email to let her know we are doing it anyway.
Half way already!
Hi Bobsa must be such a relief for you. Can i ask how long it took from signing to protected please?
I think the average is probably 6-7 weeks, although as stated in other posts, the trustee can be 99.9% sure at the outset that it will meet the criteria for acceptance beforehand.

So the 4 months it took in my case is quite unusual then?
4 months would be unusually long from signing to getting protected status yes.

It took 10/11 weeks, however I think the delay was caused by my mortgage company not releasing the relevant information without extra paperwork.
It was RSM Tenon that i was with and they are brilliant!!
Any questions or issues phone / email them and they get back to you that day.
