Friday to most it's just a day but for us it's a big day the day we will go protected if there are no objections.

I'm literally counting down the days, hours, minutes.

I'm sure it's going to be all fine and will go through no problem but it doesn't help with nerves etc in the build-up to this point..

Half way already!

Hi colski

I'm sure it will be fine. There were previous posts on the subject and where in the unlikely event of an objection, the trustee can always go back to the creditor to review matters to rescind the objection.

I seem to remember doing lots of counting down during my trust deed. Counting down to payday was always a favourite!!!

I am sure you will be fine, fingers crossed here. Let us know when you do.

Hi colski,

It will no doubt feel like a very long week for you.

I'm sure as long as your Trust Deed proposal meets the acceptance criteria of your creditors then there will not be a problem.

I think there are generally 3 points in a Trust Deed where people feel a weight has been lifted, 1 at the outset when they take advice and sign into a Trust Deed, 2 if/when the Trust Deed achieves protected status, 3 when we make a phone call to them confirming they have made their last payment.

Good luck and let us know if it becomes protected.

Good luck colski.

From all the evidence that we see here it seems highly likely to work out as you hope.

I can't remember anything about the protected bit. I remember phoning my case manager when I realised I hadn't heard anything about it and they nonchalently told me 'it became protected 3 weeks ago, we'd have told you if there was a problem.' To be fair, it was all done round about Christmas so I blame that for me lack of awareness.

Nothing left to discharge - everything's done and dusted!

Well with just 3 days to do to PDay (protection day) my administrator has asked for more infromation....!

Basicaly they are looking for a break down of our weekly millage under our expences. I have provided the infromation of course imediatly. Im told this is quite normal but even so it has made me quite uneasy about things.

Has anyone else ever had this?

We had objectors on the last and final day but they couldn't get the paperwork completed before close of business that day so we were protected but I was I'll with worry that day. Good luck to you. Hope it all works out for you

Hi Colski,

From memory a person is allowed approx £202 for petrol and parking per month. A recent case we had the client was travelling 130 miles round trip to work per day. We provided the creditors with details of this in the initial proposal as their travel costs were way above the normal allowances. creditors did not object to the Trust Deed and it became protected.

It's normal for creditors to query something on an income and expenditure. You're case manager will be able to reassure you about any potential problems.

Good luck, as my son would say two sleeps to go.

Thanks for the feedback...

Our weekly millage traveling to and from work is in excess of 800 miles combined whcih when you transalte into fuel is 550'ish a month and rising with the increase infuel prices. This is before parking!

It is by far and a way the worst expence we have. The down side is we cant change cars (get credit etc) for something more ecoanomical.

Fingers crossed it's just a quiery and not somethign which can stop the Deed happening.

I am presuming that if there asked the question yesterday, my administrater responds today that the chances of them comming back with an objection by tomorrow will be slim...

Time will tell!

Properry worried now about it all.

To make things worse we are having to change child carers which is resulting in an aditional monthly expence we hadnt considered when going into the deed. We belive by saving where possible on food bills and fuel etc we should be able to cover the short fall but its not great to have presure put on us right at the start of the deed.

Oh well 35 and 41 payments to go!

Half way already!
