I signed my trust deed in December 2010. It became protected in January 2011, My first payment made by standing order was February 2011. I have made each payment since then for 11months now. My question is since recieving a letter to say my trust deed was protected a year ago from the firm I am using i have not heard anything at all from them. Is this normal that the trust deed just runs its process as long as i am making the agreed payment. I would expect to have heard from them even if its just to say see if my circumstances have changed in anyway. Does anyone have any ideas?

Chris

Hi gibby30

Yes, that's pretty normal. Usually the next correspondence will be a current status letter for any changes in circumstances which are normally sent 6 monthly.

Don't panic, it all sounds fine.

Hi gibby30

You would normally have your reveiw every 6 months, so I am a little surprised you have not heard anything in the last year. However, I would not be too concerned, you will probably get a review soon .

Has anything significant changed with your circumstances Gibby30?

Assuming your income hasn't increased significantly, or your costs haven't reduced significantly, there should be no issue at all.

Of course, if things have changed (for the better or the worse) you don't need to wait for your trust deed firm to get in touch with you.

Thanks for the advice. Nothing has changed either for the better or worse. I had previously posted before christmas that I had got into a bit of trouble by taking out a payday loan for car repairs however a member of my family paid this off. I wont do that again.

I'm glad you got the payday loan sorted out Gibby30. It's great that someone helped you out with this as these types of loan are causing much distress and trouble for so many people right now.

As nothing much has changed with your financial circumstances I'd suggest that you just relax. You have nothing to fear from a review of your trust deed, or the lack of such a review either.

If you are overly worried contact your case manager and ask when you should expect review paperwork to arrive.
