I know this has probably been asked and answered before so I do apologise.
AIB website shows two dates, the date TD was signed and the date TD became protected.
Bearing this in mind which date is in relation to timescale for TD dropping of my credit file?
I would have thought it was the date of signing as this is the date the process starts. The annual reports also are produced 12 months from the signing date.
The roi notice and protection date etc are just dates within the process after it starts.

Hi Gresgow,
Not sure if it is the same in every case but my credit file recorded it as the date of signing. You can get free trials of your credit report so you should be able to find out easily/quickly enough online.
Another thought is when creditors receive details of the Trust Deed, they update their systems with their claim and their claim is calculated as at the date of signing.
This would suggest that the creditors own systems would use the signing date as opposed to ROI or protection date.
