I do think the debt is repaid. I have contacted the credit agency and asked for an explanation. On Credit Karma it still shows as active.

Just checked AIB website and debtor discharge date now showing - It is now over, and breathe!

Incidentally another reason for delay in closure was that they could not commence the process was that they had to wait for the cheque from my solicit...
