I can't believe how much work Mark McFadyen's company Philip Gill and Co. have completed in such a short space of time. I received copies of our TD which has been sent to creditors and the time scale involved was so impressive! A huge thanks to all who have supported me through what has been a really difficult time for my wife and I. I know it's not protected yet, but am confident all will be fine. Forgive me Sue (Clay) for referring to Mark on occasions, but it's only because I have spoken to him face to face! I am thrilled I will be dealing with you Sue and look forward now to an honest and open relationship with my Trustees who have/are working tirelessly to help and support people like me in the positions we are in. I guess I just want to add that to anyone reading the posts on these forums and are in two minds about making the first move, please, please do so. These IP's are here to HELP, NOT to boost their bank balance: they are concerned, well rounded individuals who don't judge and don't push. They will offer you advice and help you become well informed before you make any decisions. So, sorry for spouting on, but I have felt depressed and confused just as many on this forum have felt and now I feel life could change for me and all down to the fact I read the posts on this site.
Also Thanks to Maria from Philip Gill (she is LOVELY) and also to TDA and "Plasticdaft" (Paul) for all your kind words when I first "landed" on this forum! OH! and well done Paul! I'm delighted for you!!!
That's terrific Toby, I'm really glad to read that things have moved so far forwards for you in such a short period of time.
Congratulations to Mark and his colleagues as well for a job done well in both professional and human terms.
As we've often written before, there is a tendancy for forums of all types to be used when things aren't going well rather than when everything is going great. That can cause concerns for people who are weighing up their own options and reading-up on the subject first.
Your post really helps to balance that; important as I suspect most people working with most trust deed providers are content with the decision they made and the service that they are receiving.
Best wishes for the future, and I hope you'll continue to visit the forum from time to time to share your experience.
Thank you TDA: appreciate your comments! I'm certain all the other companies on this site are top class just like Mark's company! I apologise if it appears I'm trying to lobby on their behalf! I can only be truthful about the service I have/am receiving!
I must say that the contrubutors to this site are really heartfelt and totally non-judgemental. I think this is hugely important to prospective contributors. I know it's what struck me after reading over the posts which I felt were applicable to me.
And yes, or course I will try now to be the model contributor and keep you all informed on how things progress.....
Cheers!
What a lovely post Toby. It's nice to be nice isn't it? So often people come on here, me included, and it's usually when they're worried or stressed out and are needing some advice and reassurance. But you know what - it's a gorgeous sunny Friday in the North East and I can put behind me a very stressful week. Your post has reminded me that life's actually pretty good these days compared to pre-Trust Deed. Hurrah for the posters on this forum! I hope everyone has a brilliant weekend xx
Pam
Ha Ha! Well said pammy! Yes I'm afraid we're all human and run for cover whenever the shots start raining in! I'm so pleased things are looking much rosier for you now and I feel infinitely better now than pre-Trust deed forum!

And yes I hope everyone does have a fabby weekend!
