Received a new tax credits letter saying the next 3 months would be slightly lower and then for 2 months after that would be higher...no idea how they worked this out, think it's something to do with different wages to last year...any way I'm expecting tax credits to be similar to what I originally put on trust deed application as of April, so because of decrease and then increase, over the whole year it should work out the same...is it worth telling ip about all these changes if when worked out at review time it averages out? I'm not going to be gaining any extra money out of the two monthly increases as the 3 months before hand have been decreased so it's just some clever budgeting on my part!

Hi FF36.

For the sake of a quick call or email there's no harm in letting your trust deed provider know.

I doubt there will be any implications but it just reduces the potential for confusion later.

Hi FF36

I agree with TDA. I think it is always wise to drop an email or something to explain the position. At least that way you have a record of it.

On the changes to the payments, I don't see it making any difference. As you say, you gain on one and Lose on the other, so it balances itself out.

Thanks, i'll send a quick email to let trustee know.

Being new to this trust deed thing i'm not sure what things to let trustee know about and don;t want to keep bothering them with emails every other day.

Hi FF36

Don't worry, it's their job and they get paid for answering queries as part of the administration of the Trust Deed.

Always best to be on the safe side I think, as Mark says its their job to deal with all this stuff so don't worry that you are being a pain.

Hi FF36,

I really wouldn't worry about feeling like your bothering your Trustee every day. You pay for a service within your Trust Deed and it's our job to deal with any queries.

A lot of people I deal with always apologise (ÔÇ£I'm sorry to bother youÔÇØ) when they call me on my mobile to ask a question or to tell me something about their case. I always need to remind them that's why I give them my mobile number in the first place.

The worst thing you can do is worry about things and be too nervous or scared to phone and speak with your Trustee. A quick phone call or email, text can put your mind at ease.

Something to keep in mind for the future. Don't be scared to pick that phone up to them!

Thanks, will remember that i'm paying for them to answer questions and any worries i have...i don;t have a problem with my trustee, they have been nothing but helpful whenever i have phoned, need to remember that they're trying to help me as well as creditors. Sometimes you just want a quick general answer and that is where i think this forum is brilliant.
