Regular visitors to this forum will no doubt notice that the site has undergone a bit of a revamp recently. Hopefully as you get used to it, you will agree that this more modern format is much easier to use - I think you will particularly notice this if browsing on a mobile phone.
Please be reassured that we are still the same forum that so many of you have told us has helped you over the years, with the same ethos of providing expert assistance to those at any stage of their journey in resolving their problem debts. You may , however, find that any bookmarks you have saved for the old site may require to be updated.
We are also very pleased to now have a second forum on the site dealing specifically with queries about the Debt Arrangement Scheme (DAS) given its ever-increasing popularity as a debt solution in Scotland.
Please do feel free to give us your feedback and also let us know of any snags/frustrations that you may experience so that we can fix them and get the forum running as smoothly as possible so that we continue to help most effectively for many years to come.
I had issues trying to log in with the new site, it wouldn't allow me to use my saved details, so I had to reset my password, but it wouldn't send me a link with my email address, I had to use my profile name.
When I bring up the forum, I get a home page with an Error Message 404 in the middle of the page, although the tabs for the main forum are all there and can be viewed easily. If anyone else gets the Error message I see, then maybe they will think there is something wrong with the website.
I hopefully have attached a screenshot of what I see, when I initially bring up your site.
There has now been a redirection put in place, so that those with bookmarks for the old forum page should be automatically rerouted to the new forum page instead, instead of getting the 404 message.
As the new forum is on a different URL, browsers won't have your password saved any longer. Instead, members will need to input their password manually first time around. I am assured that any member that cannot remember their password should be able to request a reset password email is sent to them by entering their email address.
