had a recent phone call from my td company 2 and half years into it,they have told me my final review is coming in august and i need to keep 6 months payslips and bank statements.why 6 months when it used to be only 3 months?.in any case ,if it is 6 months they are going to discover that i have been using a vanquis card, which i must add i have been clearing immediadtly with the help of my family.as ive posted before ,what will they do when they see this on my bank statements.ive been skrimping and scraping and felt i had no option but to use this card when accepted.worried sick incase they say i have breached my agreement. please help. PS why did this card company accept me in the first place.
Hi weebill
I'm sure there's nothing unusual. Don't worry about the Vanquis card as there should be no issue in using this and paying it off. Cards tend to be more for ease of use than anything else ie use it for paying petrol rather than cash etc.
I'm sure it will be fine.

thanks again mark, but why the 6months paperwork,i totally respect your answer but im a naturel worrier.i have used around 600 pounds on my vanquis card but paid it off immediatly with the help of my family, who understand my position.will everything be ok.SO WORRIED.Ijust want a decent nights sleep,i sometimes wish i had never entered into a trust deed.
amy and mark, thankyou but as ive said before they are saying you are NOT ALLOWED to use credit as it will lead to me being re-united with my debts.im so worried i cant think straight.my case officer is a pure scaremonger who needs dealt with,im convinced hes a jobsworth with no problems of his own.I HOPE HE GETS HIS COMUPPINGS (SNOBBY GIT).
Hi weebill
The comments are 100% nonsense. You can't be 'reunited with your debts' for using credit. Your mobile phone is credit, as is your gas, electricity etc etc. nothing in the guidance legislation prohibits this.
The problem with a lot of firms is generalisation which personally is horrible as a trust deed is such a personal ongoing thing.
Don't worry, it will be fine.

thanks once again mark,i feel as if im begging for help.but i totally trust you and amy and the others. thanks again.
No probs.
I'm 99% sure there will be no issue whatsoever. If there's anything at all, phone me and I'll see if I can help.

As Mark says, there is no legal reason why you cannot use credit when in a trust deed. It only becomes a problem if you cannot afford to repay it, which is why most insolvency practitioners advise people not to use it, just in case.
The request for 6 months bank statements seems strange unless the have some reason to investigate something. Neve heard of that as standard practice however. I would also see no issue with the card if as long as agreed contributions were made. Try not to worry it wi be fine.

re 6 months bank statements, i'm with WA and submit statements on a 6 monthly basis - isn't this the norm as the reviews take place 6 monthly?
Every end has a start !!
I send my wage slip in monthly to our administrator at RMS as my monthly bonus can and does fluctuate wildly on a monthly basis. As such I have a 6 month review process agreed. My wife however is much more static for her monthly pay and has a yearly review. To make things more complicated we use cash as well as debit facilities monthly so seeing where money goes / is spent from a current account can get confusing even to us and it's our accounts lol The main thing we are doing is keeping a very close eye on our outgoings and recording these so that we can advise what our monthly costs are and be able to back them up with proof if it is ever questioned. This was all acceptable to RMS when we agreed the TD's (actually I think it's a bit overkill for them but that's how I do things normally of this nature lol)
I guess each company is different in what they want to see and how they go about it.
The main thing is to be open and honest about it all but not to penalise yourself by cutting unrealistically back on things which you need / have agreed to have in your expenses with your practitioner. If they do come back with something which you disagree with then speak to them and discuss it. At the end of the day they are meant to be there to get money for the creditors in a way which supports and is reasonably affordable to you.
Half way already!
The norm is 3 monthly wage slips or bank statements, at every 6 month review. If you are self employed this is where the banks statements replace wage slips.

I assumed the bank statements were to check bill payment amounts etc or no 2nf income?
