I posted a while back in regards to over time payment question and whether or not I would have to pay an additional amount into my trust deed. The good news is I don't, no reason was given but I know it was a one off payment and I had to send in my payslip..... and now to the even better news 1 remaining payment left, nearly there.

Hopefully things are staring to finally work out in my life. [:)]

Great news. Always best to declare extra earnings and let your trustee decide (better still to make sure its clear from the start).

Only 1 payment left, bet you cant wait!!!

Well done.

Paul

Hi sparky1,

That's good to hear that the overtime issue worked in your favour and you have one more payment to make!

As Paul has said, always best to declare extra income to your Trustee for them to decide. Having them find out about it in a payslip later on down the line can just cause problems.

Things like overtime, bonuses, any potential pay rise etc should all be discussed at the outset of a Trust Deed. Even if someone doesn't think that this will be something that will apply to them, it's always good to cover this. 3 years can be a long time and situations, jobs etc can change.

Good luck for the future sparky1 and enjoy the extra cash.

Thanks David.

Just say I didn't declare that over time payment, before the closure of a trust deed do IP's require the last three payslips, bank statements and so, so at the end - just like an annual review?

I imagine this might be one of those things that vary between trustees - best to assume that they do I would say.

Kevin has hit the nail on the head, it's really an internal review process that could vary from firm to firm.

Always best to check with your Trustee.
