Hi all, just about to pay my 21st trust deed payment with 15 left to go,I've had 1 yearly review so my next one prob just a couple of months away and then hopefully it will fly by to the end.
Paying 217 per month and had a scare when my works overtime was almost wiped out but I'm still managing to pay the full amount each month with help from family as i want this over and no longer than the 36 months as agreed.
Will be such a relief when its over so to everyone else who's in a similar position keep going, its going to be worth it!

On the home straight, juventus74. I look forward to reading another post from you in 15 months time and wondering where the time went!

I pay ยฃ170 a month - last payment is due on the 1st of June. It's not sinking in yet that I'm about to become debt free as I didn't have a very good time at the start of the trust deed. Signing the trust teed and it becoming protected was the tip of the iceberg.

A question for the Experts on here. Just out of interest have any of your cases ever returned to sign another trust deed after getting into a mess again? I know it would be hard to get credit but not impossible.

I've certainly assisted people who have had trust deeds previously, though never one with ourselves before. I guess 2nd-timers maybe tend to go elsewhere for their next one, rather than the embarrassment of going back to the same place again!

Other than having mine extended by my company I am debt free guys, 36 months and what a relief, keep going, there's months where things are tough like Christmas etc but its so worth it. I for one will certainly never need another one, lesson learned...

I faced redundancy etc during mine..

Keep going!!!

Hi Juventus74

Glad it's all going to plan.

Hopefully the time has pretty much flown in so far and hopefully this will be the case for the remaining months.

Hi Juventus74,

Well done on coming this far in the Trust Deed. It sounds like it's worked as it should have and with 12 payments to go before you know it you'll be debt free and discharged.

It's also good to hear from you cbkerr regarding the successful completion of your Trust Deed, well done.

I'm sure you will be counting down the months prenticebaby and this time next year the end will be even more in sight. Has it been confirmed how much your Trust Deed will be extended by at the end for the equity in your car? Was this agreed at the start?

It's really encouraging to read the positive success stories regarding Trust Deed's. If the time is taken at the start of the process by verifying the value of any assets and by everything being confirmed in writing then a Trust Deed should run fairly smoothly and without any surprises.

Hi
The car will be valued at the end of the TD and anything over ยฃ3000 will be paid. Hopefully it will only be 3 or 4 months max!!! This time next year yippee. Thanks to all you guys on here for continued advice and support on our TD journey.
