Hi,

Currently about a year into my trust deed, it's going fine. However I really want to, and may have to opportunity to move abroad for work. In all liklihood I would at least double my wages...

It is something I'd like to do for a couple of years to get some savings before returning home, however if my trust deed would need renegotiated and take most of my extra money I'd rather stay where I am.

Has anyone encountered similar situation?

Cheers

Hello White Cafu.

The basis of the trust deed wouldn't change by moving overseas I'm afraid.

Your new circumstances would be reviewed, and you'd still be expected to pay your disposable income over (income minus reasonable expenditure).

The basis for the decision is probably really therefore would you enjoy the change/challenge of working overseas, and would it advantage your career/finances for the future after the trust deed has ended.
