I wonder if any one can help my car needs motd and i fear that it will not pass and may need to much spent on it to get it through also my husbands car which he needs for work as he works more than 16 miles away has started playing up and we don't have any spare cash to get any of the cars sorted, just wondered if anyone knows if you can get a payment break so we could get at least 1 car sorted just worried this could be a few hundred pound which may mean a few months break and worried how this will efect us in the long run.
Any advice would be apreatiated.

Hi sunflower1

It will be up to your trustee, but i see no reason why a reduction over a period of time would not be allowed.

Hi sunflower1.

I think many trust deed firms would look to have some kind of documentary evidence for a payment break to occur. This might be a written quote for the work, or a receipt for the payment for that work for example.

If the car is essential to attend work something will obviously have to be done to ensure it's kept on the road.
