Well.. my last payment finally went through this morning and I have contacted my case manage who says she will get the ball rolling to close it out just a couple things left to do, checking equity etc.
Am so excited (but can't quite let myself believe it until I have the mystical , fabled Form 5 in my grubby paws).
It's amazing how it simultaneously feels like it has been going on forever while also feeling like it's gone in so fast.
Fingers crossed for a quick discharge.
Well done MostlyFine.
Hopefully they can finalise things and work towards an early closure.

Is there any equity to release?

Trust deed completed Jan 2012,Trustee discharge Nov 2012.
A new dawn.
Nope no equity to release but my contact said she had to double check that before beginning closing procedures, which is understandable.
Thanks TDA, Kevin and Mark... I am going home to Canada to visit family in June as my Gran is turning 90 so the spare will initially go to that but afterwards equal saving/treating for a while methinks - can't wait! LOL
Hi MostlyFine
That's great news. There is a process to closing the cases down completely, checking payments, agreed claims etc.
Hopefully this can be processed quickly and allow you some Canadian Dollars in your pocket for June.

Hi MostlyFine,
Well done on successfully completing your Trust Deed and reaching this point.
I'm sure the extra money will come in handy for your trip to Canada and for those wee treats that you have missed out on over the past couple of years.
I'll look out for your post telling us you have received your Form 5.

It's amazing isn't it Cal - feels like it's gonna last forever at the beginning and then you just can't believe it's over.
Confirmation of no equity situation received today and closing procedures starting at beginning of the week. Getting excited now.
