I just checked my bank account and I think my last payment has went today. Can't wait till 9am as I'll be phoning my trustee asking if I can cancel the direct debit. Fingers crossed!

Our last payment has left the account too!!!

And the wind has blown a massive chunk of the rendering off the side of our house!!! I think we are destined to never have money!!

It looks like a warzone in the garden.

Bloody wind!!

Good news plasticdaft (about the trust deed payment, not the damage!).

Near the finishing line now.

Amazed that the render has lasted as long because when we bought the house the report said that it would need sorting soon and that was 5 1/2 years ago.

Thats the problem with the trust deed, while there are various allowances there is no way you have money for preventative maintenance(our roof needs some big repairs as well)(and has done for about 24 months now).

Hi Gillian

I think you'll be lucky to get a positive response as they will need to confirm that they payment has been receceived first in the Trust Account.

I don't see it being a problem though and hopefully they have received adjudicated and agreed all claims before now to allow for a nice smooth closure.

Keep us posted.

Mark

Dammitt!! They must be shut today. I forgot it was a public holiday what with me working shifts.

Mark, I don't mind if it takes a bit of time, I just want to know that I'm done with the payments. It's down to the time of year I suppose, I'm sure they have lots to catch up on. All that matters is it's nearly over and I can start saving and have a holiday - will need to check the dictionary for a definition[8D].

Plasticdaft, make sure you rope the Missus on when your sending her up the ladder.[}:)] It's a smidge windy outside.

I am so glad you have both kept your sense of humour! Well done to you both.
My garden is also like a demolition site, with 6 panels of fencing down I could cry. Is there any point in fixing it just yet if these winds continue? May have to leave it till better weather......or send my hubby out in the wind!

Shona if you couldnt laugh you would have to cry.

My fence has been broken for ages and just gets tied down a bit more every time its windy. I have probably paid more in rope than a new fence would have cost but I want to replace the fence with a wall, when funds permit.

Get the husband roped down and send him into the garden with a big hammer. We've had alsorts blowing round at work today but haven't checked the roof yet so might have a bit of climbing to do when it's light.

You're right Shona, better just to laugh. I cried enough 36 months ago so I'm up for a bit of a giggle.[:D]
