Still waiting for my Form 5, but I notice on the AIB website...

Date of debtor's discharge 30/10/2013

Is that me done now...nothing else to worry about?

Hi amorphous

Yes, that is you formally discharged from the Trust Deed. Hopefully the Trustee will be proceeding to seek his own discharge, although that has no effect on yours.

Hi amorphous,

Yip that's your discharge! Well done on reaching this point and the successful completion of your Trust Deed.

Your Form 5 should follow shortly.

Good luck for the future.

Hi amorphous

No problem. Just a pity the trustee didn't get the Form 5 to you as the copy which is sent to the AIB, should be posted when you get yours.

All the best for the future.

Mark

Hi Debtfree13,

Well done on the successful completion of your TD too!

How did you find the whole Trust Deed process?

I'm sure your Form 5 will follow shortly.

Hi David, I have been lucky as my TD has been very straightforward and the company I used has been great (although I have read some negative stuff about them on here from other users).
I think the main reason perhaps things have been relatively easy and stress free is that I had a very clear cut TD- no mortgage, no assets, no change in circumstance over the 3 years and job has stayed the same etc. Only blip was needing to write off a car which had been listed at start of TD on HP, but again, company was great about and very helpful.
Discharge process has taken from start of June till now- I decided to chase them a bit a few weeks ago and they were very apologetic about delay and form 6 has now arrived, with form 5 having been posted out today (heard from them earlier today).
Very happy I did it, even if it was a push financially at times.
