Hi All,
iv made my very last payment to my trust deed, cant believe im 3 years down the line and debt free, amazing, When I say iv made my last payment, I believe I have, that's my question really, what happens next?, I have not received any correspondence from my trust deed company, so what do ii do? and what happens next I guess?, I already have plans to put that money that I would have paid to my trust deed in to a savings account, so In future il hopefully never have to use credit again, shows you it can be done.
Thanks in advance x

Contact your trustee to make sure you can cancel your direct debit/standing order. Then simply sit back and wait for your discharge and then that of your trustee.

Well done on sorting out your debts.

Paul

Well done xdenzelx. It sounds like you have a great plan for the future.

I totally agree with Paul's comments. Give your trustee a call to confirm your final payment is made and to discover the timeline from here.

Hi xdenzelx (greaty name)

It's amazing how many people comment on how quickly the time flies in.

Most of the work is pretty much front ended and it ceratinly drags at the start, especially when waiting for the 5 week protection period. After that its really a case on gathering the contributions and paying dividends.

Best advise is to contact the Trustee to ensure all payments have been made, then ask if you can cancel the standing order mandate. Hopefully this will lead to an early closure and your early discharge.

Well done and good luck for the future.

Mark
