So the final payment came out yesterday, the direct debit has now been cancelled at my end and my contact at my trust deed company has confirmed that my file will be passed over to his manager for final review. Fingers crossed it goes smoothly. I hope it doesn't take too long to get everything sorted out but i know from previous posts here that it may take a while. The end is finally in sight! [:D]

Thank you! Its been a long time sorting this out but knowing that I'm almost debt free (apart from the pesky student loans) is a massive weight off my shoulders. Definitely time for saving and moving on from all of this. This forum has been so useful during all of this and thank you to everyone for your advice throughout this.

Well done starrysky not too long now, form 5 to come through then all is done on your part.
The review is only the trustees finalising everything for you so don't worry, everything will be ok.

That's great starrysky, congratulations.

It's great to hear that so many of you seem to be getting to the end of your trust deeds recently.

I was thinking the same, that there seems to be a lot of closures on both the forum and in our office. I think the main reason is that February/March are normally the months when most Trust Deeds are signed, therefore 3 years on they should close.

Well done starrysky on the completion of your Trust Deed. I'm sure your looking forward to the future and now being debt free.

The form 5 should be issued quite quickly following the final payment to your Trust Deed and I'm glad to see that this has happened. Frame it and keep it safe although maybe not something to display above the fire place.

Good luck for the future.
