I would like to thank all the TD experts for the advice and guidance over the years! Although I have not posted many questions, this forum has been a great help if ever i needed any advice!! Well i have eventally been discharged from my TD!!! IT FEELS GREAT! I would just like to say to all the people that have just entered or are about to join a TD, There is light at the end of a dark scary tunnel! Ive got to say this forum has been a great source of unjudged guidance.
Now that i have my discharge letter, my final question is how long does it take for my credit file to be updated? or is that something i do myself! If so whats the best way to do this!

Once again, many many thanks! I pray that i never need your advice again! Its been a long hard lesson learnt!!!

Hi luckylynne

What a great post. It shows that if run properly Trust Deeds can provide a positive way forward which takes away all the fears of the unknown.

All the very best for the future and don't be a stranger.

Hi unluckylynne and congratulations to you.

I'd give things a few weeks just now to allow your creditors to update your credit file.

It will then be worth getting a copy of it. Let us know if anything appears incorrect on there and we can point you towards some articles on the site to help resolve some fairly common issues that can arise.

Our trust deeds were updated as no longer active or the credit files within 6 weeks of discharge.
