I've been checking out the AIB website and this was on it today

Date trust deed was signed 24/05/2011
Date of debtor's discharge 06/06/2014

I don't know how long my form 5 will take, but my thinking is it will come, when it comes. Was delighted to see this today.

No need to chase anyone up, I was told less than 2 weeks ago it was in hand and to give it 2-3 weeks.

Huge thanks to Apex Debt Solutions LLP for dealing with my discharge so quickly

Hi saabrina,

Excellent news. Well done on reaching this point and successfully completing your Trust Deed.

It looks like your Trust Deed ran smoothly and without any problems from those dates.

I'm sure your Form 5 isn't too far behind!

Congratulations Saabrina.

It's great to see that you are successfully at the finishing post, despite the changes in your circumstances along the way. A good example of how a Protected Trust Deed can be a very effective yet flexible process.

Hi saabrina

Well done, the timing of the discharge looks pretty impressive. Either that or you've been hounding them daily!

I'm note sure why you have not received your Form 5 as the regs state that this is sent to you and a copy to the AIB for recording!

Well done saabrina.

It's actually the recording of your discharge on the register that is the key date, rather than receiving the Form 5.

You'll still want that document though in case you need to easily prove your discharge in the future.

It's always good to have a copy as TDA says and it may be an idea to request that this be re sent just for your own records.

The key thing is that it is recorded, however I'm aware of some companies looking for sight of the actual form. Belts and braces is always best.

You can download and save an extract from the Register of Insolvencies saabrina with the details of your Trust Deed and the discharge date etc. That way you will always have an electronic copy and will have the option of emailing this to any organisations that may require it.

Hi
I haven't spoken to my account manager since he said he would be dealing with it later that week and to give it 2-3 weeks. He was true to his word, that was actually less than a fortnight ago. Thanks for the advise re downloading it.
