Quick question guys, I bank with the coop at the moment (basic account) but with all the trouble with them and also being discharged what's the best bank to try for a current account as think it's time to move my money.. Don't want to apply to several banks as that will affect my searches on credit file.

Hi Bravator.
First Direct always comes out well on consumers surveys, but they're picky about credit ratings.
Co-op generally gets good consumer survey ratings as well and the Cashminder account might be upgradable now if you were happy to stick with them.

You need to be 6 years from the date of your trust deed starting before co op will upgrade you.
