Hey

hope everyone is well 😁

after having a read over some peoples post about annual review, I thought I’d see if I could get any advice! this will be my 2nd annual review which would of been due in May. I haven’t heard anything back from sending in everything that was requested, and only just reached out to the online help chat on their site when I received a letter from previous debt. The woman on the online chat had said they had received my emails and currently dealing with this creditor letter as well as finalising my review. Is this length of time normal to finish a review, my documents sent over end of April.

Its causing me some concern as my last review did not to smoothly, there was some mis communication over the phone and my monthly payment was more than doubled. This ended up taking just shy of one month to resolve. I feel as if I won’t settle until this years annual review is complete.

Sorry for the long post.. any comments back would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Keepingthehope,

In my experience, different firms and trustees can vary wildly in the timescales for processing things like annual reviews. I can appreciate how this can feel unsettling while you await the outcome, but it's worth focusing on the purpose of the review process and that it should always be based on affordability. Incomes do change from year to year, but so does expenditure.

And don't be afraid to question or appeal any decisions made by your trustee if you don't feel it reflects your situation!

Hopefully it all goes smoothly 😊
