AIB / DISCHARGE

HEllO
I ended trust deed in December still awaiting my form 5 mainly to try and tidy up my credit report, i see on AIB register there is date next to Debtor Discharge does this mean i am discharged and would i need wait until form 5 to send to Creditors or can i send a copy of AIB register ?

Hi lilone,

Yes - your discharge is official when it is recorded on the Register of Insolvencies. Congratulations!

I'm sure you'll have a copy of your Form 5 very soon, but you could refer your former creditors to the register if they're prepared to accept this as evidence.

Congratulations, lilone. What date is showing for your discharge on the register? You should normally receive the Form 5 very close to this date.
