Hi tallpaul.

Standard advice for any creditor in this situation would be:

1: Explain you're in financial difficulty.
2: Explain that you've taken debt advice.
3: Inform them your written proposals will be with them soon.
4: Decline to discuss the matter further until they have responded to these written proposals.

Have they tried to take payments from your account, tallpaul? Contrary to what some banks used to say, these types of debit can be cancelled.

If you think your bank wont allow you to cancel the payment tell them your card has gone missing. They will cancel the card and the ongoing payment.

Trust deed completed Jan 2012,Trustee discharge Nov 2012.
