I'm in a TD with Wilson Andrews. Everything had been going fine until I called to ask for some advice. At this point I was told that my relationship manager had left the company and that I would be passed to my new relationship manager. My new relationship manager did not listen to me, expressed disbelief in what I was telling her and decided in a matter of seconds that I should just sell my home (she even went as far as telling me how and what she would do).
I suffer from anxiety and have been distraught since this call. I'm scared to call and complain as she didn't listen and I don't want to make things worse or have my home sold from under me. Does anyone have any ideas on the best approach in this case?
The reason for my call was that my factor has instructed work on the building that my flat is in. It is not optional and they will allow me to pay in instalments over 2 years which would keep the monthly amount minimal. I'm currently surviving on only ยฃ103 a month and I may need some flexibility to allow me to meet these costs and actually continue to eat. My new relationship manager at Wilson Andrews was the opposite of helpful, practically accused me of lying, didn't listen, has made me sick with worry and I never want to have to speak to this woman again. Can anyone help??
Hi 8ash.
Representatives from WA do drop in from time to time so may be able to help. Certainly you do need to work this out with them one way or another.
Maybe they'd be able to speak to your factors to explain the situation?
Thanks for your reply Kevin.
I want to work this out with them which is why I was calling them. The response from them was disgraceful and nothing like the other contact I have had with them which has always been good. My biggest concern about contacting them is that if I complain then it may make things worse and that they may insist on me selling my home (it was discussed at length before I signed anything that I would not have to sell my home and that I might have to make payments for an additional 2 years instead - I'm worried that they will now go back on this agreement and make me sell my home). .
Unfortunately speaking to the factors won't change anything as it was emergeny repairs and they have already started. The factors have already taken my situation into account when agreeing to allow me to pay over a much longer period than normal on an interest free basis. They have been very supportive and helpful unlike Wilson Andrews.
Hi 8ash,
I'm sorry to hear that you are unhappy with the level of service you've received from Wilson Andrews.
We need to look at this further and see how we can help with with your change in circumstance.
Please try not to worry as I'm confident we'll be able to work something out.
Please send me your reference via the 'contact us' email address found on our website. I will then arrange for the trustee to have a look at this for you and contact you directly.
Thank you
Ian Williams - a member of the team at Wilson Andrews
Thank you Steven,
I have sent a fairly long email to the contact us address and marked it for your attention. I have included as much information as I can and would ask that you let me know if you require anything else.
I hope that we can work together to find a solution and look forward to your response.
I hope you will feel less stressed now.[:)]

I have now spoken to Wilson Andrews in detail and I do feel much better.
I do feel silly as I now realise that I have overreacted and many of my comments about Wilson Andrews and their staff were unfair.
Sorry for my comments Wilson Andrews and thank you for your support.
