Just received a copy of my second anniversary statement that is sent to my creditors. I noticed that it states that a refund of nearly £100 has been received from HMRC but only 15% of this has been returned to the creditors, the other 85% has been retained by the trustee. More worrying to me I guess is the statement that they intend to seek PPI refunds, two years in and they haven't even looked at PPI. This is just money for old rope.

Hi AlphaB.

The timing of any PPI claims need make no difference to you so long as you're discharged when you complete your obligations.

Hi Alphab

I would hope with a year to go that the trustee could proceed with the PPI claims and have this fully wound up in the remaining time.

The VAT refund relates to VAT which was charged on fees and then reclaimed as a result of the Paymex v HMRC case.

Are you sure that it isn't the other way around, Alphab? Ie 15% retained and 85% to creditors?

Easily done AlphaB - the forms can be difficult to interpret. I'm sure the PPi issue will be dealt with soon too.
