Hi all.
I,ve just received a letter from a company called Tyler Morgan claims ltd saying they deal with ppi claims and can help me update my credit file after a trust deed has been completed.
They are asking me to obtain my credit file from equifax for ยฃ2, then post this to them with 8 first class stamps and they will do the rest.
They take 25% commission on a no win no fee basis.
To be honest it does sound god but is it genuine.?
I completed my trust deed 6months ago and have a vanquis credit card which I,m keeping at a low limit and paying off every month. Thats it!
If anyone has had any dealings with this company would love to hear about it.
thanks all.
Hi materialgirl
There have been 2 or 3 posts on this firm. All with the same advice!!
There are basically a PPI firm using the ROI I'm guessing to chase potential PPI claims.

Bin it. They are a pain in the bottom and are now looking to claim against banks who increased your credit limit without checking affordability.
I have written to them twice to tell them to remove me from their mailing list but they arent listening!

Hi materialgirl,
I've had a couple of my old clients call me about them. I've told them just to bin the letter and ignore it.

There is no need for anyone to have to pay 25% of any PPI refund to these claims companies. I used to work for one and know how easy it all is..and even though I do not have any PPI I have successfully claimed for friends and relatives, it is so easy and simple enough for you to do yourself, without having to share it with anyone.

thanks guys.
its now ripped up and binned....
Best place for it materialgirl!

I received a letter from Tyler Morgan yesterday. I no longer have any PPI to claim as it's all been done but I would like to know how to correct my Credit File. I still have a couple of old accounts that are showing as unsettled on my file, even though I am now discharged from my PTD and so is my Trustee.
Can anyone point me in the right direction on how to do this myself?

Hi monkeygg.
Do you mean unsettled "default notices"?
Or do you mean that balances still show as being owed?
In both instances it will involve contacting the relevant lenders and asking them to correct your file.
Hi TDA,
Balances still show as being owed. One says last updated 29th April 2014 but still refers to an an outstanding balance. The other says last update 2011.

Thanks, will do.
