Hi guys

My trust deed ends tomorrow after 3 long years, can't wait, but reading tonight's Edinburgh evening news the firm dealing with my trust deed has called in the administrators. Does this have any effect on my trust deed ending successfully tomorrow???

Do you mean it is your last payment tomorrow?

Your payments are held in trust. It shouldn't make a bit of difference the firm you used going into admin.

Hi crdrysdale1

The firm going into administration will have no effect on your trust deed.

All funds are placed in trust accounts and fall outwith the reach of administrators etc, so hopefully your case will wind down in the normal course.

Hi folks - sorry for the delay in posting here. The situation is as follows:

RSM Tenon's parent company was placed into administration yesterday and the shares in the trading company, RSM Tenon Ltd, were immediately sold to Baker Tilly, Chartered Accountants. All of your payments are securely retained in a separate bank account for your Trust Deed. Your Trustee and staff in our area remain in place and business continues as normal. Please feel free to contact your case administrator or myself should you have any further queries.

Just regarding Gman84's earlier post...

I'm not sure that the staff at this firm have known any more than we've learned via the media.

It's been a very worrying and unsettling time for them I'd imagine.

With that in mind, and with respect, I think the comment made was a little unfair.

Spoke with my rep today advised nothing to worry about as Kevin says above all trusts are secure.

sorry to rub it in, but my trust ended today, for anyone thinking of entering a trust deed, strongly recommend this route, hard at times but well worth it.

Thanks for all the help and advise over the last 3 years. Big thanks to Kevin and Emily in Inverness

See ya

Congratulations to you crdrysdale1. It must be a big relief for you to reach the finishing line?

It's great to read your praise for Kevin and his colleagues at RSM Tenon. They've had a pretty rough time of it recently and I'm sure that they'll be pleased that they can now carry on doing what they do so well without this worry about their employment in the background.

I notice the post I mentioned previously has been deleted.

I think that's a very positive gesture by the author, thank you.

Hi Amerififer.

It's still RSM Tenon for now.
