Hi weesenga

That actually sounds quite positive, although as you say it will only be when they pay out that you will see how it is dealt with.

Fingers crossed it works out for you.

Texts received today saying payment sent but "may" be impacted by any insolvency or debts owed to the group. So....hopefully get the letters this week. Surely if they were retaining the money the texts would just say something to that effect? Rather than saying a payment has been sent. Even if they keep the refund and give me the interest I'd be happy!

Well, still no cheques yet but I rang about only claim I never received payment confirmation for (a small cc claim), and was told they paid this back to the old closed account. Which is fair enough. I was then told that cheques were sent for the other 8 claims and my final one is still under investigation.

they told me I may need to wait up to 10 days to receive the cheques.

Me again....my partner has just rang to say 8 cheques have arrived today for the full amount in the offer letters [:)]

just goes to show that it is worthwhile putting in a claim anyway, if they don't pay you at least its going towards any debt you had, and if they do pay you then it is a bonus!

Hi weesenga

Well there you go! Being the eternal optimist, I had a feeling it would work out.

Next round on you I'm guessing!

Oh yes, am so pleased, especially since I received news on Tuesday to say myself and my work colleagues are being made redundant soon. So this will come in handy! Cheques all banked this morning, just as over 2k. I've still another card claim being investigated but have a feeling they will credit it back to that card too. I'm not too fussed though.

Thanks for letting us know the outcome, weesenga. This will give optimism to quite a few others.

Sorry to hear about your job though - I hope you get something else very soon.
