hi there.can abody out there please help.i just completed my trust deed in jan this year but was 13 months late in doin so mainly due to an operation last year.i have just recently received a letter from trust deed firm saying that i wont be discharged until ppi claims have been sorted out and due to missing contributions.thing is they have taken over 7000 pounds in fees.1300 cause im late in completing my trust deed.i totally understand that.thing is i have never had a case officer phone me which i was promised about 7 weeks ago to discuss matters.i phoned them recently and one of there staff told me that my creditors had been paid and to expect a discharge letter in the next two weeks.then yest i get a letter to say that the case is still open so obviously the guy provided me with duff information.after taking all that money in fees i dont think the service provided has been up to much.can anyone help in regards to what to do next.cheers.

Hi golf

I think you will need to speak with your trustee to find out the current position. There is nothing to stop the trustee discharging you and continuing in office to deal with any PPI issues.

Hi golf20,

I can understand your frustrations regarding your Trust Deed and having completed it now want your discharge.

As mentioned on the forum previously unfortunately PPI investigations are turning out to be a time consuming exercise for Trustees and this can delay the discharge of a case and a distribution of a dividend to creditors.

Give your case manager a call and ask for an update. Ask them to discharge you from the Trust Deed which is straight forward to do.
