Hi,
I am almost 15 months into my trust deed and feel its not the right solution for me. Can i get out of the trust deed and change over to DAS instead?

Hi carol57

No, only the trustee could discharge himself to allow this to happen.

I dont think i can think of a reason why someone 15 months into a trust deed would go back to square one, get all their debts back and enter a proposal which would start from scratch over a longer period.

Is there any reason for the proposed change?

Hi carol57.

Were these new debts from after the time you signed your trust deed?

I think you could do with a chat with your td company over whats happening. I assume they know nothing about the payday loans and other debts?? Do you think that your trust deed payments were set too high or was it specific problems that led to payday loans being taken out?

Paul

Trust deed completed Jan 2012,Trustee discharge Nov 2012.
