Hi manatbushk.

It's really very difficult to comment on whether your offer to deak with the equity is a good one as we don't have enough information to judge.

What's really important is whether your trustee and creditors believe that the offer makes good commercial sense. There's some work involved in communicating all of this, so things are bound to take a little time.

Have you asked for a status update from your trust deed firm?

Hi manatbuchk

I agree with TDA. There is no set formula as such re the equity and this will be at the discretion of the Trustee.

I am surprised that they have not came back to you even to acknowledge the letter. maybe an idea to do a follow up and let us know how you get on.

Can I ask how the equity payment is being funded? Just that most people are struggling unless a family member comes up with the cash to help out!!
