Hi dt3005.
I don't think you're going to get anything back.
Once the debts are covered you're responsible for the trust deed fees, if the fees are also covered you'd then pay some interest on the debts.
Thanks Firewalker. Used your advice and entered surname only, and bingo, it came up. It's showing no discharge of myself or trustee. I would have thought that it would at least have shown myself to have been discharged. The waiting is the worse part. Will phone them on Tuesday, and see what is happening. You've been a great help.
Hi dt
Have you received your Discharge Form 5 from Trustees? It took almost a year for me to receive mine (and that was after a lot of hassling for it) although others have received theirs much sooner. Some Trustees will issue form 5 and remain in position until PPI is gathered. In my case, my trustee would not discharge me until the PPI status was clarified.
I am unsure if you mean you are going to call the AIB or the Trustee on Monday. I would suggest calling your Trustee first to determine if they have discharged you and if they have issued your form 5. I suspect not if it is not registered on the AIB register. You can always clarify with them about the additional money, but as TDA said, it seems unlikely that there would be any to return given the interest and TD fees.
Bear in mind that although your discharge may come later than you hoped, your credit file starts and ends 6 years from the date your Trust Deed started and not when you were discharged. That may or may not be important for you to know.
Good luck.
Regarding the login change - this isn't just for mobile devices. There is no need to log in to the Register of Insolvencies any longer if you wish to search on it, as of 1 April when the new legislation became effective.
