well its been several weeks since i had confirmation i was getting my ppi claim.

my ppi company phones up bos/halifax to ask where this chq was.

they said its being they said its ongoing and be processed soon.

i have no idea why its taking so long, they originally sent the chq to my trust deed place after 3 days of the letter, so why so long now when they are sending it to me.?

We'd be guessing COOLCRAIG1975, but holiday periods often seem to slow these types of things up.

Hope it gets sorted for you soon.

HI COOLCRAIG1975.
Ive been reading your posts with great interest and i do hope it's not got any similarities to mine.As you say it only took the PPI cheque 3 days to get to your ex Trustee but then takes them more than enough time to get the cheque to yourself. I actually thought there was a little chance you would have got your cheque before xmas but it wasn't to be.Hopefully TDE is correct and it's the holiday period that's holding it up as most people only returned to work on Monday but in my opinion you are going to be paying out money to PPI SCOTLAND so they should be chasing this up every single day and not accepting answers from them like ( They said it's ongoing and will be processed soon).
Anyway the very very best of luck to you and hopefully you will get the money before your 3 week break as you deserve it.

Good luck Hoopy

Not bad at all! Have a great time spending it (or are you planning to keep in savings?)

Hi COOLCRAIG1975.

The usual advice I've read from financial advisers is to keep an emergency cash fund of between three and six months essential expenditure (bills, plus expenses like food etc).

Not an easy thing to save up for most people, but you might be in a great position to do this (and have some fun!).
