Hi scottyjones

Jeeeeez, that's been some few weeks. Just make sure your employer follows the correct procedure as its not as simple as just paying you off for no reason.

I hope things work out for the future as by the sound of it they've pretty much reached as low as they can go.

Hi scottyjones,

I started reading down this thread from the start again to get the overall picture of what was going on. It came as quite a surprise when I got to the bottom to find that your situation has really went downhill.

Did your employer give you any reason for terminating your employment? Did you have a contact with them? As Mark said, it may not be as simple as just paying you off.

Do you have any friends or family that may be able to assist?

I would keep on at your local council to find you some emergency accommodation.

Have you tried getting advice from your local CAB? They usually have employment law as well as housing specialists. There are due processes to be followed here and you need to know your rights.

I hope things work out ok for you.
