Hello. I have been discharged from my trust deed since December 2011 ๐Ÿ™‚ I stopped making payments in the September but took a few months for discharge stuff to come through which wasn't a problem.

Problem is today I recieved a letter from my trustdee asking for a copy of my p60 for 2012/2013 year. Is this correct? They didn't do this last year and I have almost been discharged 18 months why would they be asking now. Rather worried and unable now to contact them till Tuesday. Thanks in advance

Hi julie1988

It is a bit weird, however The Trustee needs to confirm that you have fulfilled your trust deed when issuing Form 5, so I wouldn't worry as he can't undischarge you.

That's great thank you for the reply. And as he is asking for my p60 to see my earnings I am assuming as I had paid my contributions on time for the 36 months that after being discharged. I can no longer be asked for any more finance payments. Thanks again

Hi julie1988.

Have you received a Form 5 confirming your discharge?

Emmmmm no I don't think so. I have only recieved my discharge. It is always listed as discharged on my credit file. is it anything I should be worrying about. Surely I can not be expected to or asked to pay anymore after almost 2 years discharged. My salary has only went up 1000 in 2 years. So no huge financial change there. Thanks again any hell is greatly appreciated. A wee bit worried after hearing nothing for almost 18 months thinking I could finally put all my debt worries behind me after working so hard

Hi Julie

'Any hell is greatly appreciated'! spellcheck strikes again.

You should check your discharge status on the AIB register of insolvencies website just to make sure.

Hopefully an oversight on the part of your ex-trustee, Julie. Maybe the trustee is still in office dealing with PPI so still has your trust deed as active despite you having been discharged?
