Hi Mrs Mac.

I'm afraid you're going to need to contact each creditor that continues to mark your accounts as being in default to ask them to change that.

Hi Mrs Mac

I understand your desire to have it all cleared up. I was almost relentless in pursuit of clearing the file. HOwever, please remember that the Trust Deed will remain on your credit file for 6 years from inception and that over-rides the rest. So, you have until the 6 year timescale to get your individual entries corrected.

I worked at it from October 2013 until June 2014, phoning and writing to each one enclosing copy of Form 5. Some are more helpful than others. I kept all copies of the letters and I sent them Recorded Delivery. It is not always clear to whom they should be sent. Even writing to the Data Controller elicited no response at times. I would say on average I wrote 3 times and called twice to each company. But it became a bit of a hobby and knowing I had up to the 6 years mark kept the irritation at bay [:D]

In the end I got the files updated and the dates within a month of the default date so that was good enough.

Good luck Mrs Mac.

That's right cal, it should be 6 years from the start of the Trust Deed
