Hello, I went through the whole trust deed process with RSM Tenon and signed my trust deed in Glasgow on 29 June. My notice was published on 19 July and I received official communication of this from Tenon on 26 July. I heard nothing else from my official account manager, but telephoned after the 5 week period and was told that there had been no objections and that my trust deed was now protected. It is now 22 October and despite numerous emails and phone calls I still have not received any official communication that my trust deed is protected. One of my creditors (Tesco Personal Finance) have similarly received no official documentation and are therefore still in communication for payment. It is very stressful and I'm not sure what to do next. Should I have received formal communication by now?
Hello girlinglasgow and welcome to the trust deed forum.
I'm glad to hear that your trust deed with RSM Tenon became protected.
You may wish to contact Kevin Mapstone, who represents this firm in this forum, as I'm sure he will help you to get this resolved quickly. He is contactable via a form on his profile page here.
Tesco Personal Finance will have had plenty of communication about your trust deed, but whether they've been able to communicate this properly internally seems to be another question.
thank you, I'll do that!
Hi girlinglasgow
As TDA says, Tesco will most defenitely been informed. The problem with some companies is that it takes ages for them to update their records! Sadly, this means you get letters etc, but I am sure Mark will sort it.

Sorry - Kevin will sort it!!

Hi girlinglasgow, I've looked into this and seems there was an oversight regarding written notification of your protection going out to you but this should be sorted out as a matter of urgency now. My apologies for the delay.
As the others have said regarding Tesco, they have been notified but sometimes we end up having to remind creditors a few times before they update their systems. Again, we will do so asap.
