Hi marine_engineer.

Congratulations on taking this bold and decisive step. It can't have been easy after having worried about debt for such a long time.

Best wishes for the next three years - I hope that they pass quickly for you.

Hi marine_engineer,

Well done on tacking positive steps to deal with your financial difficulties. Asking for help and advice can sometimes be the hardest thing to do.

Good luck for the future and as TDA has said I hope the next 3 years pass nice and quick for you.

I can safely say it may well be the best decision you have made in many years. The 3 years will fly by and you will be reformed financially and have a very different outlookon the money side of your life.

Good luck.

Paul

Well done on dealing with your situation, it's a scary thing to do, but definitely the best decision I made, rather than letting everything spiral completely out of control.

The three years will go quicker than you think, and it will be such a weight off your mind, and getting the discharge letter is a brilliant feeling.

All the experts here are friendly, helpful and extremely knowledgeable, and there's lots of support from people who are going / have been through the same process.

Hi marine engineer

Thank you for the kind words it does mean a lot.

I think I mentioned that I don't see any issues whatsoever, even though your situation is slightly different from the norm. However like most things, it's a case of fitting the circumstances to a solution. Hopefully the seas won't be too rough in the coming months!

Hi TDA

I had an awful lot more than that one. Awful being the appropriate word!
