I was six months into a Trust Deed last November but when entering the TD my trustee did not mention these reviews and I received nothing asking for a review in November either?!!

Is it only some trustee's that carry these out or are they a neccesity? If so theyve never been mentioned to me.

Thanks for a great forum guys.

I've never had a review either although I did get a letter saying that if my circumstances had changed in any way I had to advise the firm immediately and it listed things that could be taken into consideration, is that the same thing or should an actual review have taken place?

Things can only get better!

Sounds like different companies do it different ways.

I am with Grant Thornton and I am sent a six monthly review.

I was told I'd have a review six months after I signed my Trust Deed in May, which I received in December. But after the first review it would revert to an annual review.............

Hi Greenie

I believe that most firms carry out a six monthly review, although if you don't receive one, like Parlay states make sure you tell your Trustee if your circumstances change in any way.

Nothing to worry about if you get one...i had to supply wage slips and bank statememnts (showing all my outgoing expenses like utilities, council tax etc) and fill in a short declaration approx every 6 months.

If you provide all these, all adds to your ongoing co-operation with your IP.

I think the legislation now states that a review must be carried out at least annually, so maybe your firm is intending on annual reviews, greenie.

When I set up up the TD,I had to provide 3 slips, but come my review in jan 12,they said just the previous month, which is ok,different TDs seem to have different arrangements.
