Hi all, As part of a programme i am on at work i am required to sit on the board of a small charity or voluntary organisation. I wondered if i am "allowed" to do this with being discharged in June this year from a protected trust deed and if anyone encountered any problems ?? Thanks Sally

As far as I am aware, there is no legal reason you can't, Sally. I suppose the organisation's own rules might say otherwise, but I'd be very surprised.

Probably different if you were an undischarged bankrupt, but already discharged from a Protected Trust Deed is a very different matter.

Hi ducky1978

I don't think it would be an issue if you had not been discharged, however it certainly won't be an issue if you are discharged.
