Hello,

I am currently on my second year of my trustdeed. I started a new job at sea not long after going into my trustdeed and I am eligible for seafarers earnings deductions as im at sea for more than 6 months of the year. Will my trustdeed take this if I am issued it?

thanks

Ryan

Hi, the short answer is yes, potentially.  When you signed the Trust Deed you promised that you would pay as much as you could reasonably afford for the subsequent 4 years.  Unless you can justify that the extra funds are required for something else then your trustee should be gathering them in from you.
