Hi,Just a quick question. I have notified RSM Tenon that I have just received a salary increase. It works out about £32 per month after tax. Not a fortune I know, but every little helps. Do you know if this whole amount is likely to be added to my TD payments? Could really do with it what with the rising cost of living. (Ten months to go and counting!)

Thanks [:)]

I had a similar level of pay rise recently (my first in 4 years). I included details of increases in expenditure along with the letter informing of the rise and was notified my payments would remain the same.

Glad that's over with....

Hi herewego,

Any change in circumstances should be reviewed and it's good to see that you have notified RSM Tenon re this.

With the cost of living and other bills which would have increased since you entered into the Trust Deed 2 years ago, I would think it's unlikely that a payment increase would be applied.

Best just check with your case administrator. I'm sure Kevin will be along shortly to advise further.

10 months and counting... Before you know it you'll be back on posting about your discharge.

Hi herewego,

You should only have to pay across what is affordable - so if you can show a justifiable increase in your living costs then that would be offset against the increase in your wage. Obviously be sure to make your case manager aware of any changes in yur outgoings too.

Thank you upstream, David and Kevin,

Had a reply back from case worker (and I must say it was very quick!). Good news, they are unlikely to raise payments in view of the amount and they only need copy pay slip showing increase, so I shall send it off tomorrow. I have to add, RSM Tenon have been great over the last two years and case worker has confirmed that I will receive discharge while they complete PPI investigations so no hold ups on that front. 🙂

All good, herewego. It's always pleasing to hear good feedback about RSM Tenon. I'm sure the last 10 months will fly by!

Glad to hear some good news, my last increase about 4 years ago was £ 50 per month, my Trustee took £ 40 of that leaving me with £ 10 extra, and would not allow for any increases in expenditure. To reiterate, wish I'd come across this forum sooner.....

Really please for a good outcome. In my experience there's no change in 90% of trust deeds. Reviews should take a reasonable look at any increase in I come, but they also need to take a reasonable look at increases in expenditure.

Any other way makes absolutely no sense.

Mark
