Hi I was wondering if anyone has had dealings with carrington dean and could tell me if they review your trust deed 6 months or annually ? I have been with carrington dean since February 2016 and have only had one review in Feb 2017. I have read a few things which state that reviews are every 6 months so I hope I've not missed one ? Any help would be appreciated.

Welcome to the forum Stace2988.

I don't know the answer to your question in respect of this single firm.

However, if you respond to any review requests that you receive, you shouldn't have any cause for concern.

Would this not be a question for your case handler at Carrington Dean?

To be fair Voice of Reason, I think Stace2988 was just looking to check her experience against other customers of the firm who might be reading for a bit of reassurance. The question was posted at a time when the offices of many firms wouldn't be open.

Reviews don't have to be more often than annual, though many firms do them six-monthly. I'm afraid I don't know about this particular firm's policy.

Hi Cha cha 7 and welcome.

I'm not sure how often Stace2988 visits the forum, so I thought I'd share some information with you.

Reviews will usually look to gather information about income and bills. Documents like payslips, benefit awards, and bank statements will often be requested.

Firms will differ in exactly how they go about this, so if you want to be organised in advance for the review you might want to call your trust deed provider to ask about their process and requirements.
