Our mortgage completes next Monday and the final registers searches etc will be done this week. I've got access to ROS at work and just searched the inhibitions register and it shows a recall notice in August 2011 which is just before I was discharged from my TD.

Will this cause a problem as it is still an entry in the Register of Inhibitions?!

They will only be searching for currently live inhibitions, to make sure that the sale can legally go ahead. The fact that an historical notice of recall is showing shouldn't make any difference at all I'd have thought.

I take it your getting a little nervous now that it is getting so close? I'm sure it will be fine, try not to worry too much.

Yep a wee bit nervous! It is a historical notice and I take it the "recall" bit is important?

Hi tinsoldier

It's a condition of the discharge that the Trustee recalls the inhibition. As there is no live inhibition in place, it won't delay matters.

I'm getting worried now - the search folk are saying it can delay settlement???

Hi tinsoldier.

It does look like Kevin and Mark have provided fairly emphatic answers that may be of some reassurance?

I do appreciate you will be nervous - fingers crossed for you.
